Most Progressive Club 2021
It is a huge honour for Agents of Tech to be appointed the Most Progressive Club.
At the same time, we wish to thank Taylor’s Student Engagement and Leadership Development (S.E.A.L.) team for recognizing our work and this will no doubt act as an encouragement to the Board of Members of Agents of Tech.
Best Club 2021
Agents of Tech is deeply honoured to be awarded as the Best Club.
On the 30th of October 2021, Taylor’s Student Engagement and Leadership Development (S.E.A.L.) team organized and hosted a Student Development Recognition Ceremony on Gather Town.
In the past year, Agents of Tech has organized a handful of events such as ImagineHack, The Cyber Initiative, and Data Game Plan where we worked alongside some industry leaders to provide a platform for students to learn and grow. We also initiated the IT literacy workshops for the MON refugees and B40 community together with other Taylor’s communities. Not to mention, we also collaborated with Me.reka Makerspace, Robotic Club, and Taylor’s Education Group in a project named DuckiePi to build an affordable e-learning device that was distributed for free to the B40 community as well as collaborating with other clubs in Taylor’s University to host events about technology in the related field. We are proud to say that Agents of Tech are accomplishing their goals of wanting to build a strong and reputable technology club that at the same time care for the community.
Best Publicity Campaign 2021
Agents of Tech was awarded the Best Publicity Campaign by Taylor’s Student Engagement and Leadership Development (S.E.A.L.) team for our Data Game Plan event.
Data Game Plan was one of the signature events hosted by Agents of Tech and was held on the 14th of August 2021. The objective of this event was to educate the students on how to break into the data industry and change the views of students about how Data Science actually works in the real world. This event was opened to the public and we collaborated with 11 universities in Malaysia to publicize this event.
